This (iteration) of this website officially went live on 1 January 2026, so I thought what better way to start of the Blog with a “manifesto” of sorts - more specifically just some rationale about why this website exists!

First, a bit of a history lesson — during my foray into photography, accompanied with a renewed interest in graphic design during the COVID lockdowns, my digital home was an Adobe Portfolio website which was home to all of my creative work during 2020-2024. That was, until my Adobe Creative Cloud subscription was out of reach…

My humble Adobe Portfolio during the years 2020 - 2024

You might then be asking, what came next? Did I create a new amazing website? Did I successfully complete my odyssey of completing The Odin Project? No. Instead during the entirety of 2025, the domain on which you currently are on now was home to a vibe-coded placeholder site, which I had planned on replacing with something new and amazing to no avail.

Thanks Lovable…

Which brings me to today, the beginning of a new year, and a new website! After dipping my toes in Obsidian and deciding enough was enough, I embarked on a (one week) journey to build something new — a digital home for myself and anyone who might be curious about what I might have to say or what I’ve done.

That was a history lesson, not necessarily a rationale… Why a website and why this website? Writing this now, the website is only in its infancy and consists of three main sections, my work, my blog and extras!

When it comes to my work, I wanted a place where I could showcase all of the cool and fun projects I had worked on, am working on and will work on! Being a jack-of-all-trades, the types of things I get to work on, both alone and with others varies so much day to day and I wanted a place to write about all of these journeys, my thought processes behind them, and lessons learnt! For example, in 2025 alone, I got to work on three narrative short films, build a start-up incubator, do two photoshoots for a student magazine and work on an online course platform for web design, just to name a few things. Hopefully, by journaling the work I do, I can learn from what I’ve done, inspire others and become a more conscious creative.

Being able to write is something that has escaped me for the better part of the last two years. Having studied literature in high school, I was able to write to my hearts content, often to the dismay of the recommended word limit. I’ve always been a person with maybe too many thoughts for my own sake, and I hoped that writing could be an outlet for that. However, upon starting university, I seldom had time to commit to writing much at all, especially within the confines of my STEM degree. However, I hope now with a dedicated and convenient place to house my words, I might be able to subject the world to my numerous opinions and thoughts.

I’m always working on random things, which deserve a home to live, which is why the extras tab exists. I hope it can be a place where you can discover a new tool or resource I’ve made in my free time. Live in Melbourne? Check out my Restaurant and Cafe Database! Maybe you’ll find a new spot that you’ll enjoy.

Just a bit about how this website is made. Not wanting to pay for Obsidian Publish, and being a growing proponent (and enjoyer) of self-hosting, I stumbled upon Quartz! Feel free to explore it more at your own leisure, but it’s basically a way to host your Obsidian vault, however you want, like for free! Which is what I do, using Cloudflare Pages. There’s plenty online if you want to figure out how to do that for yourself.

To close off, I’d just like to thank you for reading and I hope this will be the first blog of many. Feel free to join me on my journey of everything and I hope to see you again!
